Here we are, with 2 more weeks to go until to the Marathon! And the 4th week of training :). It's unbelievable how time goes by!
This week unfortunately, I didn't have the chance to run as much as I committed to last week, but hopefully I will catch up in the following week. And at the Casiopeea Cross (scheduled for 29 September), in which I enrolled for a longer distance (6 km). So, I will be more than prepared for the Marathon and my participation in the Fun Race :).

Not that I want to brag, but our trainer,Victor, told me that I could even finish the 10km run if I want, in my style of course, i.e. running with a few (or more) breaks :).
Looking back at the day when I decided to run at the marathon and be one of the "Magnificent 4" to follow, I didn't think I'd enjoy running so much and that it would be this fun:) And even if my body is not always connected to my state of mind and keeps pulling me back from running at my full potential, I will continue on this path and hopefully, our lovely club will not end the training sessions after the Marathon :).
As you all know, it is quite hard to convince yourself not to run to bed/couch, but to run in the park :). And it's even harder to convince yourself to run at a "formal" training with your colleagues, without being called "a corporate geek" by all of your friends :). But I took this path and there is no way back. Except for running it :).
All this being said, I will end my note in a happy mood as usual, as tomorrow is my birthday and I've already started the "party". I even got my first lovely presents (thank you!!!) :).
And of course, I will continue my usual weekend training, by celebrating 3 days and 3 nights like in fairy tales :).
Have a great weekend everyone!
